Obituary of Helen Sophie McCluskey

Helen Sophie McCluskey, age 99, of St. Paul, MN passed away on December 3, 2023. 

Helen was born in St. Paul, MN to Rudolph and Clara Weber on October 18, 1924. 

She worked during World War II at Pearson Candy Company in St. Paul, MN. In 1946, Helen married William McCluskey when he returned from the Pacific, and they raised their three children in St. Paul. 

Helen loved playing cards, playing Bingo, cooking and taking care of her family. She was very outgoing and friendly to all who crossed her path. She also loved decorating for holidays, and her grandchildren were always excited to see her large Christmas Village display. 

She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Howard) Manteuffel of New York Mills, MN; son, William (Lavina) McCluskey of Mesa, AZ; son, Timothy (Susan) McCluskey of Maplewood, MN; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, William McCluskey. Also preceded in death by her brothers, Willard and Todd Weber
