Obituary of Gary Frederick Vietor

Vietor, Gary, died peacefully on April 22, 2024. Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. Gary was a Johnson High School graduate, Class of 1956. Gary worked for the Main Post Office, 180 E. Kellogg, St. Paul, MN and then retired. Gary joined  the 40 and One Fishing Club, which his son was already a member. Gary belonged to many different leagues during his life which consisted of bowling, golf, racquetball and handball. Gary loved going for coffee at McDonalds in Maplewood with his friends. Gary's biggest love of all were his family and grandchildren. Gary was always there when they needed a helping hand. Gary is known for his sense of humor, love of people and his unselfish giving. He touched many lives and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Lorraine (Reisem); son Steven (Dorothy); daughter Wendy Radermacher; grandchildren McKenzie (Michael), Cassandra (Christopher), Natalie (Grant), Samuel, Maggie; great-grandchildren Autumn, Addison, Barrett, Kylee, Quinn, Maisey, Eleanor, Millie; sisters Delores and Diane; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Myrna and Fred; sisters Carol and Anita and many friends. Celebration of Life will be held at Gustavus Aldolphus Lutheran Church, 1669 Arcade St. North, St. Paul, MN 55106 on Tuesday May 7 at 11:00am (10:00am visitation). Luncheon to follow service at church.
